I’m originally from Halifax, Pennsylvania, a small town along the Susquehanna River in central Pennsylvania. After completing a B.S. Ed at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an M. Ed at Temple University, I met and married Tanker. Since then, I’ve called many places home over the years. We have traveled throughout the US and beyond, as he served in the Air Force for over 29 years. We have two awesome children, Quay and Claire.

The Snyder family joined Bayshore Baptist in 2004 when we lived on MacDill AFB. After retiring from the military in 2007, we knew that we wanted to call Tampa home. One of the most important reasons to return to Tampa was our ties to Bayshore Baptist.

WHY MINISTRY? I absolutely love serving others. I can’t think of anything else I rather be doing then serving our Lord and making certain He is glorified in all I do. God is so good to have placed me as Minister to Adults here at Bayshore! Ten years of BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) and pursing a seminary degree at Fuller Seminary has and is preparing me for this calling.

THE CHURCH I SEE: Bayshore is working really hard at making church attractive to the next generation, while still meeting the needs and caring for our senior members. I’m honored to be a part of these exciting times.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT BAYSHORE? No question… the people. Bayshore has this unique quality of making you feel like your fellow parishioners are your immediate family. We’ve traveled all over the world and have never felt such a sense of family nor have we experienced the level of fellowship and comradery that we are blessed with here at Bayshore Baptist.
